ASK YOUR FRIENDS TO SEND.........
Dear friends as you all know the visa section of Canadian embassy in Tehran is closed.
The Iranian Canadian Congress (ICC) has launched a letter-writing campaign to convey the community’s discontent with the closing of Canada’s Visa Office in Tehran. The Government of Canada made this decision without consultation with the Iranian-Canadian community. It is a decision that can have tremendously negative consequences for our community and for our friends and loves ones back in Iran. Canadian politicians know that each protest letter they receive represents 100 unhappy voters. Let's send enough letters to Mr. Kenney so that he knows Canada's 100,000+ Iranian community is deeply unhappy about his harmful decision (and that we'll remember this when the next election comes around).

Subject: Reconsider Tehran Visa Office Closure
Honorable Minister Kenney,
I am deeply concerned about the Government of Canada’s recent decision to close the Visa Office in Tehran.
I am worried that your decision will increase the frustrating backlogs that Iranians face when they want to get visas to visit their families in Canada. I am worried that the government made this decision without consulting with the Iranian-Canadian community. I am worried that this decision will harm Iranian-Canadians and make it harder for them to see their loved ones.
I want to add my voice to many members of the Iranian-Canadian community, including the Iranian Canadian Congress, who have written to members of the Government, including your office, to express their concern.
Please reconsider the decision to close the Visa Office in Tehran.
It is important to our families. It is important to our community. It is important to voters like me.
Sincerely,
Name:
